Great thread, I myself cookie cut builds pretty hard. Though I'd advise for people to try out very slightly different variations of the builds here to figure which one works best for your style of play.

Yo what's up,

I decided to create some 3s spec for Discipline which I currently use.

Thanks so much for posting this -- I'm used to later expansions so this will certainly aid me in my return to BC.

Unfortunately, all the links to PvP specs are gone after the change of forum's layout. Good thing is that I did save those builds on my google drive so you can still access them there. I can't rebuild this topic any soon because my exams session is about to begin, sorry for that! Here is the link to our PvP builds:

Feral (mangler)

Meant to be played with 2 mangle idols, bt trinket and str gems instead of agility
you're still meant to shread on clearcasting.

Feral (best imo)

Feral talent points are really discussable, this is the maximized agility spec with shread into action.
Hi! You seem like a knowledgeable person on feral druids (and despite your post being 3 years old, it looks like you're still active).

How is feral pvp in 2.4.3 arenas? It's been ages since TBC but if memory serves correctly, Feral didn't really pick up until WotLK.

I am coming back to 2.4.3 after a long time on 1.12. I love stealth/burst play and feral is absolute trash in Vanilla, so I'd been sitting on my rogue & planned to do that on 2.4.3.

Based on what I've read, while Feral is not as bad as it was in Vanilla, it still struggles in 2.4.3 and is outclassed by Rogues. (Great mobility, decent sustain, mediocre control, weak burst, and no mortal strike.)

For Arena stealth/burst/control play, is Feral still a very weak choice?

I wouldn't say feral is a "really weak choice", just that there are better tools for the job, making them an average choice.
Instant servers give feral druid a huge plus which is offering them mid/bis gear in which they scale greater than several classes and a huge minus which is playing arenas against a spam of the few top comps, which feral is not a part off.

In vanilla feral druids were really weak and you were pretty much only able to dish out good damage with shred critical hits, and you had close to no crowd control what so ever.
In tbc feral is stronger and more in par with rogues, able to stand their ground way better than before, however cyclone and maim just ain't sufficient/fast enough cc when compared to a rogue.
In wotlk feral druids became way more competitive, not only are they capable of throwing instant/better cc, they can also move around faster and possess a godlike cooldown. The faster and "more active" pvp of wotlk makes cc harder to set up and maintain, making ferals way more competitive in arenas.

It also depends on your goal when playing, if you're aiming for let's say a tittle, I would recommend you playing your rogue, in case you wanna have fun and try things outside of the boring "meta" give ferals a try. You might even like it and become good at it, nothing is as respectful as good performance coming from an underdog spec/comp.

Keep in mind, feral druids are 1v1 monsters, great in battlegrounds and world pvp. It's just the starting stage of the arena where they might struggle with the cc part, usually past this part your toon will become stronger as the match progresses until the opponent has cds again.

Hope I was able to help

Awesome information! Seems like all of the talent calculators are broken though, if it helps you can use ours: https://www.dkpminus.com/tbc-talent-calculator/
