What happened?
I recently got back to this server after a few months of inactivity.. but seriously what happened? At the time I quit hots were bugged, now UA is bugged and can crit.. You disable items like Wrangling Rope that are completly harmless in any way also the BiS meta for healers doesn't work any longer or did that get disabled too? Could anyone tell me what's going on exactly because I don't understand it. Everything was working as intended before why mess it up so much..
Also horde queus didn't get any better maybe it's time to put some priority towards the development of Crossfaction battlegrounds. Since it's almost impossible to get inside a bg even if you queu solo you get a 20 - 30 minutes queu.

Re: What happened?
Even without logging into the server I can feel that server is dying even further. Been afk for like a month as well. just check on the forum sometimes.
Hoop the server will be growing again. Well, for the time being.. Try Echo of souls and patiently waiting for Blade and Soul.

Re: What happened?
Laziness happened and the server is going very downstairs very quickly, it's not my server so cba. Try 7 days to die :D
Re: What happened?
Yeah I heard you have to really maximize laziness to graduate with a degree from university. Server has been dying for seven years according to the community.Hartun wrote:Laziness happened and the server is going very downstairs very quickly, it's not my server so cba. Try 7 days to die :D
I'll be rolling out a lot of updates soon, and this summer we'll work hard on new stuff. So stay tuned. ;)
@FAK. I'm honestly not sure, I wouldn't be the person to tell you. Maybe Itslovelol can comment, if not, please report to our bug tracker.

Re: What happened?
Server's been dying for about 2 years give or take. That's in correlation with most other servers out there. The private server community isn't going to grow from this I'm afraid. More and more old players are moving on and the newer guys probably don't really have it in them to get into an old expansion.
Hartun implies the server's been neglected when it's quite the contrary. New things have been implemented that you could've only dreamt of having back in 2010 or 2011. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. In comparison to now, you could've called the server neglected back in the peak days, but it still did fine, because there were a greater number of players still very much into TBC. That's completely different now.

I said that its neglected in "recent" time ( last 4 months ) cos there haven't been any updates whatsoever and new bugs keep emerging quickly that's all that im saying.Balls wrote: Hartun implies the server's been neglected when it's quite the contrary. Re: What happened?
I know that it has been going downhill with the server that's why I suggested months ago that we should have stuff like crossfaction battlegrounds. I know that it's not easy to code something like that, but still at least give it priority over useless fixes like starting out with cooking / fishing (which is not essential).Balls wrote:Server's been dying for about 2 years give or take. I know you wanna make things easy for noobs but really it also takes away part of the game (this is also the reason why Blizzard lost so many subscribers, there top subscribers was at TBC and Wrath IIRC). Discovering how to learn fishing / cooking, interacting with others players instead of starting off with professions or gear that you normally have to get. I know this make it more noobfriendly but it also causes people to never get better at this game because they need to learn it anyways and giving them this at the starts makes the game more easy and boring.
The waiting times for the battleground on horde side are way too long and I can understand that people cannot be arsed to wait that long for one battleground and I think a lot of people quit just because of that (Apart from the people that only played for the Ezatt vs Fak fued, I don't mean to brag with this but there were seriously players only playing for that). I think that if we had Crossfaction battlegrounds and Dual Specialization about a year ago, we would've lost way less population than we did right now. If I were the admin I would put top-priority to those two things right now since this will make our server unique and stand out from any other TBC-server.
Talking battlegroundwise now apart from that there are of course a lot of other factors that have influence on the population drop: like adding new content (which is kinda hard unless it's custom), arena: you did a great job on 2s and solo queu 3s can't really say on what to improve here would be nice to have 3vs3 with teams and rewards but the population is too low for that currently, duel area is fine now iirc , PvE: this subject is kinda hard because re-opening SWP would make a lot of people sad since it makes PvP unbalanced then again our peak time of players was during the SWP time so maybe rethink of a new concept on how to implement new content or maybe even a new reward system for PvE? Also advertising and a lot of other factors but I guess you get my point.
Just some thoughts I wanted to share from my PoV.
P.S. I think part of the population drop had to do with the removal of SWP, since I have had a lot of whispers or people at LFG complaining that their gear got wiped etc.
It caused more balance but some people can take it quite personal if you remove their gear (even if this happened to everyone apparantly).

Re: What happened?
I think that Henry making EVERY SINGLE PVE ITEM available for free did more damage than SWP gear ever did. Yes Fak, you are totally correct , there are some ppl ( 10 max ) that did got their SWP gear from the actual raid and felt pretty bad when it got removed. The balance is marginally fixed since the mentioned gear got removed but still you can achieve those haste/dps numbers via the available items. The only section that suffered is PvE ( yeah i know ).Firstaidkit wrote:

Re: What happened?
Yup, you're good at pointing out mistakes while forgetting your own ones. Like you weren't one of those idiots going full PvP haste mode.Hartun wrote:I think that Henry making EVERY SINGLE PVE ITEM available for free did more damage than SWP gear ever did.
