SF tips

Post by Skriot »

Hey ppl thought id just give a few tips for SF since i just came back :):)

The 5 man SWV is awesome!
The 10 man SC is amazing too
Now make a super hard dungeon or just a single boss like a 20 man that has a pre TBC boss at end like Ragnoras (inspired by a pre TBC raid vid) seriously will be awesome!

Also, The pvp environment is great here. If you are learning a class or just trying to show off your epeen, step into the arena to fight some of the best players you will ever see in private servers. the arena system is almost completely mirror'd to blizzard with a few bugs here and there. If you aren't up for the tense arena life, try the hyjal teleporter every hour to either have some pve fun and kill the captains, or duel and pvp against alliance and horde. FInally, if you can't enjoy any of these, maybe wsg will suite you well. The bg's here are flawless. 2.4.3 is a great time to bg especially when every class has a chance with s2-s4 gear on. Badges will help you get stronger but the skill will always carry you here on smolderforge.

Good Luck!

It's good to hear you say that. :D Have you actually raided through the entire SC? It's very hard, so I was surprised when you said to make something harder O_o. If you get people that know the encounters it can go quite well though.

I worked a long time on Scarlet Citadel and we have very limited resources(no custom models, spells, advanced scripts, voice sounds) so we had to make it out of what we had; I really shocked myself.

When I raided on my Paladin with Tonx and other people for the first time, I really had a lot of fun. We had to fix several quick-bugs in the raids that weren't noticed but other than that, I really thought it was really fun.

well henry as ive raided it quite alot by now i can say it gets easier everytime...beacuse as far as ive seen all u actually need is to know what the bosses do and have the right amount of dps and good grp to get through it.

The idea about having another good and really hard instance is actually good. But it better not be only 1 boss beacuse we might as well just ad godzilla bk then...it could be done like ummm ,take something like MC or BWL and make it a costum raid with new npc's and mobs:P..make a quest line again to get something good (title, weapon, badges, armor). theres alot of ways but its up to u.

Lol, yeah, I remember I raided with tonx with a whole group from our guild the night the server got shutdown, and we raided it pretty well and tonx was always raid warning and ventrilo-ing what to do when the bosses were doing their special attacks, :)

Yeah hen i have done SC its pretty hard but simple of you not what your doing...

what im trying to say is a pre TBC area like MC with an amazing giant like ragnaros inside it would be amazing feel with him doing shit loads dmg and aoe like illidan does 7-8k on plate (23k - 27k on cloth) if u get me.... just the feel of a pre TBC boss like rag makes me want it more! :P

want to see some people wipe by a huge 20k aoe or some shit make it so hard :P
