In the upcoming 3.0.9 server we had originally planned to change the location of the mall for security reasons with our database. But since many people are used to the uniqueness of South Seas I would like to open a poll for people to vote on the place they would want to see the mall at.

Please keep in mind we would prefer to use "old" locations, not Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King maps. There are several reasons why, but I'm not going to list them.

I was originally making it in Azshara Crater but it's so spread out it's causing problems.

I vote Grizzlemaw in the Grizzle Hills which is in Northrend. I know you said "Please keep in mind we

it has like tree cutouts that look like they where put there for privet server vendors and the music
that plays there is so soothing.

Yeah, thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely look into it, however I like to make the malls more real-event feeling. Looking like something was set up there, a base of operations, etc. Like how in Smolderforge a lot of the vendors crowd a globe of Sunwell, like they are planning something, etc. I tend to lean away from malls that have vendors lined up one by one, or this case in doorways. We'll see though ;)

a great spot could be moonglade, it is desloate, no npc's there and you could even just put it around the town etc. you know?

I voted for other but atm I do not have a specific location in mind for the new mall. I propose, if we ever do the PTR, that everyone should keep an eye out for locations of interest for a mall location. I'll be scanning various locations to find one I may like.

Also, Hen, if you ever get a set date that your going to do this PTR call me and tell me the date, I'll try to answer but I'm too busy to be looking at forums right now what with exams Mon. and Tues. and I'm trucking it on my eagle wright-up to get it done by Sat. so just let me know if you can.

Which PTR? If you're referring to the other one in the thread, read the second message I posted in there. If you mean a PTR for 3.0.9, it's a little hard when I don't have a mall set up >_<.

I need the mall, vendors filled and the right trainers set up with the right spells in them ready to go.

What about the crypt, you know the place where the headless horseman is not but in the bone room.

We'll look into that too, but it's pretty open as well. PTR is Public Test Realm. It'll be like the Wrath test we held a while ago, except this one will be at a different realmlist.
