List your pick/vote for game of the year, for each console/your overall pick

Last of Us for me, PS3.

Haven't played any decent titles released this year. Gonna pick The Last of Us up though. Seems like one of the few that has the potential to be good, that's been released so far.

Naughty Dog always delivers, man. Would definitely recommend getting it. It's not some pussy survival horror either, it's one of the few games where choosing your strategy matters.

Do you use your precious ammo?

Are you low on health?

How many are there?

Can you sneak around?

But.. that's not why I recommend it.

I recommend it because of the story, well, the characters in the story.

I fell in love before I had even played 30minutes, then it escalated. I know I sound like a fanboy, but god damn this game.

It received many 10/10 scores which I've never really seen before. I would try it if I owned a PS3 and played console games still. Perhaps it'll debut on the PC in the future?

Yeah, that's mainly what peaked my interest.

Dunno, not sure if Naughty Dog does PC stuff. Perhaps it will though.

Well, when you look at the story in black and white it's not very original. At all.

It's the characters and how they present the story, and they did it perfectly, which is why I can say this is easily one of the best games I've played. Combat wise 6/10, because I dislike the weapon selection/changing during combat.

Everything else blew me away. Not to mention the game looks great.

That pretty much sums up my expectations.
