Don't really have any favorite movies, just a good bunch that I like better than most others. One of them would be The man from earth. It's about a professor who suddenly quit his job, and tells his friends and colleagues that he's moving without any apparent reason. When he's packing his last boxes they intercept him, and question his decision. He's reluctant to give them an answer, but they wear him down. He tells them that he's walked the earth for 14k years, and has never aged past ~35.

The movie is very slow paced, and the only setting is the professor's house. The majority of the movie is about them questioning his statement, and the discussion about it. You can probably guess that it's far from a AAA blockbuster. Acting is meh, setting is meh and music is fairly meh as well. It's the idea and the conversation about it that lifts the movie, at least in my eyes. Not a movie for everyone.

There are a few, but for the sake of simplicity (and my boredom) I 'll simply suggest one.
"The Usual Suspects"
