I donated 8 dollars to get exalted with shattered sun, but my code is to long for the pirate.. please help?

Yes I am sure, I'v checked a few times.
The email says "give this code to the donor vendor when he asks"
then I do and it's to long

Solutions:
1. Relog
2. Relog and clear cache
3. Don't copy > paste the code over sometimes it goes wrong just type it in manual.
