Over the past years the LFG channel has gone from being a global communication channel, to a public forum of message spamming, heated debates, and a means for server advertisers to spam the ever loving crap out of everything.

The tool is useful in many ways aiding communication between players, as well as for Game Masters to easily see what is going on in the world, and occasionally correspond between players. However, the feature has gone very out of control. I have curious as to the opinions of the community.

Don't close the channel, server would be even more dead, this channel runs the community. Server advertisers will just /yell spam.

It's true that LFG channel is terrible. I left the chat for over a year ago, but joined it again couple of months ago but created a new window for it so I dont have to read the spam or hate and other stuff going on in that channel.

I see nothing positive to remove the LFG channel. You can leave it, you can ignore people. It would kill the little PvE community who still farms ZA. It can be very unnecessary spam sometimes but the channel is also quite entertaining and interesting. I think it was worse before than it is now.. a server advertiser will just type /y or /say, some of them have IQ whisper now. Durotar disease.

Either get rid of it or enforce rules more strictly, disallow all and any bullshit. Go north-korea up in that bitch.

Just mute Ruuren and Resolol and LFG is fine.

now this may surprise many of you, because I talk to myself in LFG.

I voted yes because I think that it will increase player interaction instead of shouting in LFG for answers and bullshit.

Will also stop players from having public disputes and otherwise spamming LFG with flames.

If you take it down, it more or less forces players to seriously ask questions of others. Through whispers or general chat. If you take it down, rivals and otherwise trolls are forced to take their bullshit to whispers or general chat.

Don't close this channel, you can Ignore people for spamming. The server wont be the same if you close LFG
