I'm new here and unfortunatley haven't played yet. I have tried on several accounts and even reinstalled the client. No change still stuck on authenticating when I try to log in

I have discovered another thing. As soon as its done being stuck on authenticating it goes straight to Dc. Help

Sounds like you have not properly edited your realmlist.wtf file.

Direction say empty your list and it shall configure itself. I have done exactly that. I like to play on molten wow too, could that be the interferance?

Molten WoW does not support 2.4.3, they are Wrath + Cata servers. I think you're very confused on what you are trying to do completely. In that sense, I'm really not sure what to do to try and help you.

i dont know maybe the 2 clients (whatever patch it may be) are interfering with each other preventing me from playing. I may not be that technichally smart but I think i kinda know what i am doing. I have torrented the client with utorrent and extracted it with winrar. my realmlist is set to smolderforge and i have a fully activated account. is there something I am missing?

What version of the game is it?

Are you certain it's "realmlist.wtf" and not "realmlist.wtf.txt" ? That can happen.

Paste the contents of your realmlist file.

From the file "WoW TBC" set realmlist
connect.smolderforge.com

keep in mind i do not have retail installed at the moment

You do not have it line broken like that, do you? Should all be on the same line.

If that doesn't work, try:

set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info

As a backup.
