Hello. I just want to ask if it is possible to accquire the SWP Plans and Patterns. I have all the rep with SSO and Aldor but i still didn't find a vendor which are selling them. I am asking this because i want to get this item here -> http://www.wowhead.com/item=34361/hard-khorium-band

But I guess we could hold a general discussion about this.

I remember when Smoldeforge had its own instance for pattern drop. But that was waaay back. It was something with the Scarlet Crusade. Atleast that is what i remember :))

We've been as of recently considering maybe working on bringing that back. With new standards of course, all written in C++ and scripted to prevent boss-skipping or cheating.

I can craft you that if you get a hold on sunmotes, /w Instinxz ingame.

What about having a vendor outside SWP with the patterns, which cost sun motes. These sun motes, could be purchased with badges(20 each or something to make it pricey for crafting.) or even better to piss off the donor-haters; make it a donation.

Or, make them a donation for one particular profession! Donate for SWP tailoring recipes, JC etc! In fact, seeing as some of the ZG stuff is viable at 70 as well (mana oil, anyone?) I could see quite a bit of possibilities with that.

nah.. donators got enough. i like and i think ppl should be able to get the sunfire robe the normal way
to keep pve atleast a little bit alive.

You sound as if there is something to save atm. It seems pretty dead...the dead kind of dead and all.

Yes, getting it the normal way, when the instance is closed. clearly logic. Besides, you're talking about a community that wipes on Moros wearing SWP gear. clearly, we can get it the normal way. I'd be more inclined to agree, Applez, if we could at least down Prince in Kara. However, this isn't going to happen here. This is why I think it should be available for donation, since people do want the recipes.

when SWP was open ppl had groups to farm the mobs and managed to obtain the recipe's
so history has show on SF that it is possible to get the recipe's the normal way.
donators seriously got enough shit. this does not need to be added to that list.
what you're referring to is making it available to a select group of ppl.
