I haven't really received any updates from the host other than that they're working on the problem. DDoS attacks can take hours to mitigate. If you don't know what a DDoS attack is, I strongly recommend you enlighten yourself.

It's essentially hundreds, if not thousands of computers attempting to communicate with a server and it gets overloaded. Think of hundreds or thousands of people trying to ask you a question or talk to you at once---you get overloaded. That's exactly what a DDoS attack is.
