Core move in the future

In case you've missed the threads on the forums we are going to be migrating away from OregonCore to a highly modified version of the original TrinityCore. The privately developed core by HellGround. They've decided to share their repository with select developers from Oregon so that we may collaborate and work together towards improving the core overall. I am pleased to have been invited to be a part of this.
Due to changing a whole core over, expect everything to change. Meaning the fixes Darkgroom has done over the past many months will vanish, but also may remain fixed in their own way that HG has done long ago. HellGround is known for having thousands of players online easily (granted they're spread out across the maps). They've very stable and unbelievable bug-free (from what I've heard). Their PvE is also very well developed to where those requesting work on PvE for SF, will get it.
Many systems and technologies in this core are going to add a whole new light to Smolderforge. An overview of the ones lukaasm named off the top of his head:
Those are just core features. Without testing I am quite certain the level of PvP fixes is tremendous. So expect classes to be working amazingly. But, I haven't fully tested anything yet since I am on vacation. But be excited for the move soon!

Many systems and technologies in this core are going to add a whole new light to Smolderforge. An overview of the ones lukaasm named off the top of his head:
- Multithreaded packet processing (massive, massive performance boost)
- Vmaps3 (better line of sight)
- Terrain system (ambals)
- Multithreaded BG Updates (massive performance boost on core use in processor)
- MaNGOS feature: balanced BG queue (for premades)
- Spline movement (curves for MovementMaps)
- Warden (you already know what this is)
- MovementMaps (creature pathing)
- Database pools
- Prepared statements (stories queries for faster execution)
- Statemgr (not sure what this is...)
- VMSS (virtual map service - after crash on map, restart only that map)
- MaNGOS gridmap system
- MaNGOS poolmanager
- Trinity's Query AutoPtr for MySQL queries (faster database executing)
- Multithreaded passive anticheat (not sure if I want to use this)
- Ban by email or pattern (based on boost-regex with that u can ban specific ranges, not only full IP address)
- Extended visibility system, you now have different visibility distances in arenas, BGs, instances, continents.
- Improved relocation system based on intervals (hopefully no more falling through the map)
Those are just core features. Without testing I am quite certain the level of PvP fixes is tremendous. So expect classes to be working amazingly. But, I haven't fully tested anything yet since I am on vacation. But be excited for the move soon!
