Google Glasses -- Thoughts?

While I think it's pretty cool, I hope it's an extension of cell phones. Like a Bluetooth does currently. There is no way in hell I am paying $80 for a cell phone plan and then like $60 for another for glasses that will do the exact same thing.

On a serious note I actually think the idea is cool but at the same time I feel like if it was actually worked and became a regular type of device like a cell phone social interaction would be gone. Not to mention I really think a lot of people would bump into things often.

I think it's a great idea so I won't have to wear a head-set and it's looks pretty bad ass, I might have to get me a pair.

It looks cool but it won't be useful for years to come. I don't doubt there will still be people buying these just so they can show off their expensive gadget (and hopefully get mugged). Whoever designed it did a good job though.

Google employees are simply beta testing them at the moment so I would estimate they are no where near deciding on a price at this time.
