Roughly how long will it take for the server to be up and running?

not for a while mate. Though i'd give it 12 hours/a nights sleep.

I woke up about 3 times during a 8 hour sleep last night to continue checking the query. It made no progress from the item_instance table so I'm going to have to take a different approach to it. I don't doubt it was cleaning data, it was just to the extreme. On MaNGOS I found a better query to try tackling that table but for now, I'm going to move onto dumping and reimporting the database. I've already blown too much time on the cleaning so I'm moving onto this stage.

Reimporting will take a several many hours too. How many, I don't really know but I will be able to provide progress updates with that.

Maintenance has now been concluded, thank you everyone for your patience during this long update. The performance has already paid off, the startup times were spectacular again! Back to about 1 minute as opposed to 30-40 minutes to restart! (yeah it got THAT bad!)

I'm sure in-game performance has been massively helped too!
