yeah, it's down since like an hour.

How long is it taking the server to restart once it crashes? The crashes are related to some function Darkgroom wrote so I'll need him to look into it. I haven't seen him around in a few days though.

If the event of a server crash the restarts should be relatively short. Not sure why they appear to be taking so long.

Been taking more than an hour. Happened twice in a row today and yesterday at around 5pm-6pm GMT I think?

That's odd considering startup times are extremely good now. Perhaps the server is hanging before it dies.

Darkgroom said he'll take a look at it tomorrow. If this happens a good thing to do is email me or send me a PM with the title SERVER CRASHED NOT COMING UP or something. Because I have a tendency to wake up for a few seconds, check my phone, fall back asleep. If I see something that notifies me of it I'll probably get up to take care of it.

No, we schedule our extended maintenance's, have restart countdowns, announce on forums, do it early in the morning, etc, etc.
