Warden would not cause this. Nothing has been changed to cause this.
Probably the influx of Rogues.

Another very, very important fact. Screenfreezes are not lag. They are a multithreading problem.
To drastically reduce them open Task Manager->Processed->Right click on WoW.exe->Set Affinity->Leave only 1 of the boxes clicked.->Press Okay/Submit or whatever.
You should notice a substantial difference.

For some it makes a massive difference -- it depends on your processor. Again, no this isn't entirely the server, it's client-side. It's brought on by certain movement flags sent by the server, but in the end, your client is the one making the screenfreeze. The duration and frequency is related to your hardware, etc.
Now this isn't telling your hardware is bad, or needs to be replaced, obviously that's not the case. I'm only saying it differs and the mitigating of it is different for everyone. This exists on all 2.4.3 servers, AT alike. Darkgroom is going to look into the movement flags currently.We cannot guarantee we even know if that's the case. That's why this has never been fixed, the problem is really unknown. We only know a few things about it and sort of shoot in the dark hoping we hit something.
Back in the days of OregonCore's active development stfx several times thought he might have located and fixed it. Sadly, he did not. If Darkgroom's investigating on the matter today was correct, there's an improper flag setting in 2.4.3 that needs to be looked at. Again, he's looking into it.

true and this problem has been known since the Start of TBC Private servers.
still..... i just cant get over the feeling that there is something else lagging the server.

As for the screen freezes, When does this actually happen / when have you noticed it? During a stun, during some kind of person being around or on a time when a lot of people were stunning each other.
let me know!

well it can happen at ever breaking point of the 2 factions clashing into battle.
meaning every CD gets popped (in most cases) and ppl nuke the shit out of eachtother.
but it can also happen when youre just walking around. outta nowhere ( im guessing this is a screen freeze and not lag )
