WHY DOES SERVER SAY OFFLINE

hi i downloaded the file for smolderforge its 5.77 gb and its a .rar file i diddnt do anyhting to it i just put it in my wow folder whe nit got done downloading and i click on the wow.exe launcher and i was able to log into the server and it says offline and i was wondering if its happening to everyone or just me.
