We are currently experiencing some severe problems with the server starting up. It's all these random unexplainable problems which just lead me to think MySQL has gone kapput and is too tired to work the way it should, or the whole Linux is just falling apart. So in about another week or something I'm going to update I think to a newer version because this one is starting to really piss me off.

I'm having to reimport the entire character database (6.7gb of text) so looks like I'm going to be up late tonight. This is always fun.

An old trick my grandpa taught me; whenever any device or object stops working properly, follow these steps.

1) Get a crowbar.

2) Grab a Hazardous Environmental Suit.

3) Smack said object repeatedly until you feel a little better.

4) Did it fix the issue?
a) (yes) Everything's working fine!
b) (no) Well obviously you weren't hitting it hard enough. Put some backbone into it!

5) ... For Science!

Finally up and back online, now I can sleep.
