Smolderforge Support Community

It's been requested by the community that we reduce the amount of time AV opens up, the frequency and/or duration. There has also been a few requests from individuals that we remove the battleground altogether.

I would like to know the communities input on this matter and please vote in the poll so I can see what's the opinion of others.

Henhouse, would it be possible that we change it to a separate rotation? Similar to Hijal?

We had it on a separate rotation previously many months ago. It was never played. Of course we implemented it that way back then so that plays part possibly of why it wasn't played much. I have a feeling if we were to do the same again there's a good chance it would die. I could be wrong though.

Honestly, I'd like to see just one rotation of it, of one hour. From what I've seen, it goes by quick enough so that in that hour you can get two runs in. Sometimes not, but eh. It usually allows for two groups to go in AV.

This isn't an option in the poll though, so otherwise I suggest removing it altogether.

Never tried it, but removing it would suck, most notably if it's working the same way as it did on retail.
Thing is, and I don't mean to just say "increase it the next day", the popluation for it is set too low atm. you need 40 people for it to be worthwhile, that's ~12.5% of the whole poluation (ignoring the faction imbalance).
So as of now, maybe just have 1 opportunity a day (and if it's not too much of a mess to have weekly cycles implemented, just once a week) for a single instance (people have to wait for the next hour if they don't get a spot though), this BG is a one hit wonder for most people, nothing else, it pretty much needs new players for every instance.
If I want to see something closed it's Hyjal, as there isn't even a cap on players you can have for one faction... =p

Hello , Henhouse soryy for bothering you but when i donloaded WoWBC 2.4.3 and i went to realmlist.wtf-typed set realmlist connect.pre-tbc.com then Started WoW.exe and it starts Cata (my original game) i mean any suggestion's why it start's cata instead of Smolderforge????


PS:i saved the new realmlist

Make sure you were in the correct folder, sometimes it can be confusing when you have multiple versions of the game to keep track of them all. Also, make sure you didn't accidentally patch up. If you'd like, take a screenshot of your WoW folder (through Smolderforge) and upload it to the forums.

One rotation of one hour is no. I'd rather you remove it completely. I don't know what AV you guys are playing, but from retail vanilla to Wrath, AV is a long BG. Period.
