Unfair Arena's.

Ok, so here we go.
Like a normal player, I've spent the time i've needed in the bg's to get the only 3 available vengeful gear (I don't understand why only 3 pieces is available) and now I'm ready for arena!
Well, that changes fast.
Everyone that plays arena is fully geared s4 donors. LOLwut? Why do you donate and then only play arena? For us players that start with s2, and aparently can only remain in s2 since s3 AND s4 costs arena points, we simply can't do anything.
I'm glad there are donors, keeping the server running, but it is going to just as fast make people leave since they can't earn their gear.
S3 costs arena points AND s4 .. tell me why anyone would spend it on s3 and not s4? I doesn't make one ounce of sense.
So, for the last week, all the donors play arena while we regular players just get ganked.
Time for a new system ..
1. Seperate arena for only donors (if that's possible?)
2. Keep the non donors and the donors seperate. Let's be real here, two full s4 players vs two s2 players? It's simply not going to happen, especially if they know how to play.
Please do something about this.
The alliance already lose almost every bg because Horde / Alliance is so unbalanced, and now on top of that we can't even win arena for gear?

This won't happen. Arena is for fun as well as to get gear, that's why you see S4 geared people doing Arena.
I can understand how frustrating it is to be facing only S4 teams in Arena. I think that's one of the things that pushes a lot of people to donate in the first place.

As far as i see, henhouse has acknowledged this and AS I"VE SEEN thought of these possibilitys:
A) we keep the current system (keeps the sense of status, but cuts the sense of character dev)
b) we lower rating (Lowers status of that gear, demotes donars (for we can get gear easily), allows players to develop characters easier)
c) we go back to the badge system/arena point system (cuts status out of the water, demotes donars even further, but amplifies the character development to a greater extent).
But we cannot discriminate the donars and non-donars access to the areana.

I just simply mean can the non donors play seperate arena games than the donors?
I literally have to wait until like midnight my time, or 7 am realm time when there is like no one on to beg for some scrandoms to play so I can get a fair game.
It's annoying is all.

The thing u demand aint possible, atm the arena isn't popular enough if we separate donors and nondonors it will be like 2 dead brackets.. and i'd definetly start in the nondonor 1 even tho I have donor chars u know what I mean.
Also this isnt WOTLK, gear isnt as important as u think.. I ended r1 and got vglad title with a nondonor priest and mglad as nondonor warrior with my partners playing s2 (forgot also r3 aka Gladiator with nondonor priest) And i've played lots of chars to shoulders.
So um, Im not just trying to brag here.My point is that if you only blame the gear you'll never improve.. cause beign high rated with starter gear is indeed possible.Just find a stable partner, play a viable comb, dont rage when u lose and never give up cause there's always something you could've done better.

I don't get at all why full S4 people want to arena, but I also don't get all this crying related to it.
Most guys act as if they run around in green gear versus epic equipped people.
It's not that you start with crap, S2 totally can get the job done, most notably when you know how to play, as most S4 equipped people just suck.
Even if WoW is pretty much a scrub game, where skill gets rolled for you, and gear certainly has an impact on that, the difference between S2 and S4 isn't that far off. It certainly makes a difference if everyone knows how to play their class equally over the course of many games, but that's definitely not an issue here.

In the future we are planning to make Vengeful all honor-bought. In addition allow Badges to be converted for honor points.
We might lower the Season 4 ratings too, probably but not drastically by any means since they are still the only way the server makes any donations!

WoW isnt about geting all the gear and then quit lol.The only reason I play is for arenas and I dont get at all why shouldn't we play if we are full s4? I play for the fun and competition, and i'd do arenas no matter what gear I have.
Hen don't lower the s4 rates.. let the kids have something to fight for.I'm even willing to help ppl who think geting rating with s2 is impossible so i can prove them that they are wrong.Aslong as they arent 13yr old iranis that can't even speak english ofc.

Well, for most that's the case imo. ^^
There are a few players who enjoy the gameplay itself, but most just want to achieve something by getting better gear, and when they have everything they grow bored of it.
I pretty much see new S4 players every time I log in (mostly warriors and rogues), but I hardly see them twice.
