This all depends on when you lost the games. If the second place team lost their games like really high then it takes more games to make it up. Then if you lost again, well then its a cycle. If you lose them at a lower rank it won't affect you so much. One game might make up the points.

Could just be that they're farming +1 teams

Also it REALLY depends on who you're fighting against. If they have THAT many games it's likely they farmed much lower rating teams than the person below them.

Still thinks he wondered about how they got to nr 1 with just 59 games.

By winning teams higher rated and earing +15 - +30 not +1?
