Quick Poll: Server Move to Europe?!?!?!

Okay so I've been looking at new dedicated servers for Smolderforge, especially since we need one soon for PreBC and they literally told me they "had no more RAM" to offer for our server.

Currently our server is hosted in Los Angeles, California. 80% and more of our population is most likely from the Eastern hemisphere. I was recommended a host in Europe that hosts servers in the Netherlands and Germany and the servers were good and quite affordable.

Currently we're paying $90 a month for our dedicated server with the following specs:

2 Intel XEON 2.8 Ghz Processors
2GB of RAM
120GB Harddrive
100Mbit Up/down speed
2TB of bandwidth (limit).

The server in Germany or Netherlands would cost be $107.6 a month for:

Intel XEON 3210 Quad-Core
4GB of RAM
500GB Harddrive
100Mbit Up/down speed.
5TB of bandwidth (really good for multiple servers!!!)



So please vote in the following poll if I should go ahead, order this server and move Smolderforge over to Europe, thanks. I just need an answer soon ... lol.

Would any changes need to be made donation wise? Such as we need more donations, or just more expensive?

Sure it's only 10$ more but you said it was in EUROS. So, 10 USD is equal to 9Euro. Or something like that.
Anyways, for the better of the server I'll vote move to Germany.

Also, I will consider throughout the day to increase prices to $8 since that's what I was going to settle on for a Wrath server when we thought we were opening one. It's still 1 digit and quite a big increase.

Maybe move T6 to $15? I hope this doesn't cause donations to stop...

Also thank you everyone for the quick responces, it was important that I got them quickly because I'd like to go ahead and get the server probably and move off the server in California so I don't have to pay for another month and not be used it since my billing cycle is on the 14th.

We probably will begin the move tonight if we can, we will open a small arena server(I call it the 30-minute AT since that's how long it takes to make, lol), maybe Brutal gear again, not sure but it will run on OregonCore so people can get the good PvP and see what errors and produced from the server.

The good news is that I do not expect the server to be down for 8 hours last time since I can load so much more into RAM now. Unless we come across problems which I am sure we will.
