Small Preview of Things to Come

We're hard at work on Server Updates 4.1 and they are coming with a lot of cool new server changes!
Firstly the big thing is the moving of the battleground masters to a new location and familiar to some --- the old Horde mall, or the farm place left of Godzilla's Lair. Now, I've spent quite a little bit of time designing the Tauren farm, giving it purpose and feeling with NPCs, farm animals, etc.
The main purpose of this area is to drive players more away from the mall, spreading the out and to also help with lag. Inside the building there will be 3 pedestals, on which the battleground masters will stand. The pedestals can't be jumped on so you won't have to worry about people standing on top of the BG master once a game ends. You'll be able to turn in the quests when the BG is not in session and there will be auras on the BG masters when their battleground is available for queuing.
Some of the server updates are just normal MaNGOS fixes and addons, but two I am excited about is a new Chat-Color blocking feature. I'm sure many of you have seen it -- the people posting in blue, red, pink. Yes, it's a suspend-able offense and we hardly catch it. The new feature allows me to either block it, or block & disconnect the user--which is probably the one I'll choose.
The second is a little feature to disable arena rated queues. This is great for when the arena season is NOT in progress!
Now I'm sure people are wondering if we're going to revamp Godzilla's Lair, and to be honest I'm not sure about that. He would need to be revamped first of all, he is very old and bad scripting. I would lower him to about a 5-10 man and reduce his loot and stuff by a lot because I didn't like seeing 30+ people going into a 15-man raid. Just didn't work with world-bosses.
There's also a few easter eggs planted in the new area, followed by an in-game memorial I erected in dedication of my friend, Simon Zerner who sadly passed away recently.
I hope you guys enjoy the updates coming soon and I hope to work on them as much as I can!
Below is an alpha picture I took before some other changes were made, but you get the idea.
