when is AV coming back?

any plans to reintroduce AV? if 20 mimimum players is to high for the server activity. reducing it to 15 or even 10 would work because the npcs in this mode is not balanced around everyone having full s2-s4 with full enchants and consumables anyways. i think it would be fun if added back and reward a wep frag for winning it to get more players excited to que it. atleast add it back for 1 hour every 24 hours like it used to be. i think most people dont care it by design favours alliance a little bit because thats how it was in retail too and horde can still easily win with a stronger team.

if they add it back to rotations for 1 hour at peak atcivity time and lower min players to 10 per team then i can guarantee you atleast 19 out of 20 av;s will not close to lack of players

That would be great provided that there are some minor tweaks done to balance NPCs on both sides. You should also remember that our server's AV caused some major stability issues which makes it quite problematic.

yea more often then not AV caused server instability but provided that could be solved i would love to see AV back. because having only 3 bgs on rotation feels limited and boring. especially when eots and ab feels quite similar

If AV is to be reintroduced I would absolutely exclude it from the normal BG rotation so when the inevitable happens and you don't get people for it there is still at least something to do and you don't have to wait an hour to be able to play BGs. In my opinion the BG rotation should stay as it is with the AV NPC showing up every now and then with clear indications as to when it's possible to play AV. You wouldn't be "forced" into it, but it should be a possibility on the side of whatever you normally do. This is just my $.02

The first time we implemented AV, it was optional, and it almost never popped, despite having hundreds on. When we forced it, people played it actively. I am not sure if it's because people didn't notice or, or hated AV, or a mixture of the two. It's really difficult to get people to play it.

As for it not returning, there were issues with it that would need to be investigated before we make it return, but since I am not sure it would be viable upon returning, we haven't done such investigations at this time.

ofcourse people would play it. the main issue was 20 minimum players couse often there were 15-19 per team and it closed. lower this to 10 or 15 and it will be fine.

It was already at 10, apparently. Not sure when I last lowered it, but in its final half year or so it was at 10 minimum.
