wasnt it supposed to be removed till u fix that, guys?
is that really necessary to let it go? is it mattering that much?
cuz if you just log on the server u will be amazed by the amount of players that just considers AV as a cancer for sf

I'm most perplexed by why AV is causing issues. The codebase for AV has literally not changed for like 4 years... So I'm confused what is triggering something to happen. Was it always this bad? Is there a specific event happening in AV that causes this lag to appear (if anyone has ideas, please mention it).

It's possible it could be fixed IF we knew what actually was causing it. I'm just most confused how something that hasn't been changed in ages is recently causing issues.

How many people usually fight over objective points? Like 20, 30? I mean a lot of similar stuff is going on in the dueling area (with the exception that visibility is removed of others for the duelers). I think it should be able to handle it okay... but I guess I am not sure. It made me wonder if it happens on the bosses (captain and general) in case somehow their scripts were causing issues.

Combat lags are fairly known here and it has always been, likewise, server always lags inside AV and even the server spikes when AV is active as well, it has always been like that, to fight on the open ice field in AV or stand and just attack each other in that damn hill is a fucking lag hell, I remember that I always whined that you freeze at the capture point before the bridge on ally side, you would probably still lag if you had a NASA computer.

I've always wonder if it's a AV issue or a spell issue.

What if some players just fight in AV, just like a few, maybe 5v5 or whatever and check when everything starts to lag :D

Well we just had 100 players break out in all out FFA war in Gurubashi after the end of the 1v1 event and it doesn't seem to be causing issues for the server. Must just be something specific to AV....
