I'm not really here to "complain" but isn't this trinket supposed to be extremelly nerfed for each level after lvl 60 ?
it's always been considered as very bugguy on private servers (whatever the core anyway) cuz overproccing.
I'm not sure to understand why this is possible to play with it?
People were not using it on TBC cut it wasn't worth (too low proc chance at lv70), if my memory is right, so im just here wondering why this is part of Smolderforge which is a full 70 realm ?
it's only allowing ppl to abuse it imo, isnt it?

sorry if this subject has already been discussed.
edit: fun to watch several WD played by war that are using sword spec + HoJ. usually WD is played with mace, but here it' is so worthy to be rollin with this trinket lmao, trishoting other healers yup. but well. smolder allows that kind of lame meta saddly.

XD teitei, rng is already taking too much space in the warrior gameplay. I don't see any interest to add such a broken feature. You can even meet enha shams rollin with ap trinket + hand of justice praying for sexy one shot on fire mages in battlegrounds xD. Idk.
Is this supposed to be blizzlike fir the devs? It just feels lame. :/ there is toi much rng on the server atm to allow THIS imo.

Someone should try to find the new proc rate anyway.
It was removed because the proc rate was around 100%.

for example hand of justice procs:
Level 60 (& before): 2.00%
Level 63: 1.80%
Level 65: 1.67%
Level 67: 1.54%
Level 69: 1.40%
Level 70: 1.33%
Level 71: 1.27%
Level 73: 1.13%
Level 75: 1.00%
Level 77: 0.87%
Level 79: 0.73%
Level 80: 0.67%
^ posted by evolve some time ago on CC forum. dunno where he got those numbers from tho. the problem is that on smolderforge this trinket probably has PPM based chance to proc instead of fixed % chance, but i might be wrong here.
ps: i hope you all know that absolutely every attack has chance to proc this trinket, including special attacks, including extra attacks from sword spec / wf and even extra attacks from the trinket itself and this part works correctly? IIRC, on this server it's chance to proc not that incredibly bad, it's something like ~3-4%, maybe even less, 5% sword spec procs definitely more often than this trinket. but if you think that this trinket has too high chance to proc - i can test it a bit and tell you it's real chance to proc if you can't do that by yourself :s
@teitei it's not about if he's rogue or not, mages / priest / locks or even resto druids suffer from this trinket much more then rogues xD

yep, okay, found that formula, same as other items / enchants from lvl 60, thx:
By koaschten (14,358 – 1·12·30) on 2007/03/22 (Patch 2.0.10)
HoJ is scaling down from 2%@ lvl 60 to 1.33% @ lvl70
which exactly reflects most scaling blizzard implemented for the addon... lvl 60 value * 0.66 = lvl 70 value
oh well, this part probably doesn't works, but the difference is less than 1% :) i'll try to give real numbers for this trinket in a couple of hours, when i'll be able to test it.

Btw, is this possible for the additional attack to be dodged btw? Cuz i feel so mad when I take 50% of my life during evade just because it procced. Seems like we cant dodge dat extra attack. Maybe im just having bad luck, but i'd like to know.
