The amount of Horde online versus Alliance has never been worse, this is really getting out of control and urgent action is needed because at this tempo the server will be 100% horde only in a month or less.

10 of my last 11 BGs closed because of not enough ally in the last days, and when BGs close no faction is having fun.

Ban the creation of new Horde chars for some time
Bring back free transfer from Horde to Ally
Ban the transfer from ally to horde for some time
Fix the BG balance system because we are still getting 8v2 battlegrounds

Until then it has become completely pointless to even try to do BGs

It really sucks.. I don't understand why we don't have crossfaction battlegrounds yet, there must be something personal from Hen's side. I remember reading something about Alliance vs. Horde rivalry. Unwritten rule maybe.

Closing Horde creation is not really a good solution, it maybe helps for a time but it will also ruin things for new players and it's just affecting the server in a bad way, (according from past times Horde was closed) an annoying factor to put it simply. Just put up that 'Please play Alliance'.

It would be good to limit the cost with 50% or more for transferring Horde -> Alliance, not that the tryhards will go Alliance for a lower cost, just look over att BMAC guild for results.

Crossfaction is probably the only solution for this unbalanced battleground population drop. x_x

Well, bmac transfers increased my honor and badges incomes by 500%. If any other guild is into switching alliance, I'm fine with that.

Should introduce free change from Horde -> Alliance, maybe some short-term benefits to go with it?

Why bother all that if you could simply fix it with cross faction bgs

Because we have been asking for those for years and it's just not happening, so maybe this has a chance

Another thing that is keeping players from changing factions is reputation loss that brings also professions loss, which sucks big time, but I'm sure that with some developer will it could be fixed.
