Something like that sure would give at least some meaning to the title since most of the people who got one, won in so fucking long ago if not downright got it granted for nothing, and it may motivate more players for the chase, with arena titles would be more unique again and all.

Your comment has no argument, you're saying it doesnt mean anything for once titled players... come on now. I mean they could change the ranking system but leave the rank 1 and 2 players atleast. They shouldnt be taking out any of the titles though. Doesnt matter how long ago a player got a title, they still achieved something not many players have in the history of SF arena. Arena's were harder back then anyway..

And in all honesty from players i have talked to who are titled, this will just force them to either quit the game completely and make the server MORE dead and 3/4 of there old partners arent even around anymore so they wont be doing arenas.

Cool arguments.

1. Since when did arena titles get wiped on retail?
2. I contributed way more to this server then you ever will and I don't need to play arena to do so, I play whatever the fuck I want, that's why I joined this server this is a fun server not based on arenas and bragging who's the best. Also FYI: I donated 1000+ dollar and I was GM for like a year helping people out by doing a lot of tickets and other in-game support. Besides that I have reported an tremendous amount of hackers / wintraders in my time being here and helped out a lot of people in-game.
3. What did you do? You made another cool rog vid and got carried to your title. Shall I tell you a little secret: This server was never focused on arenas and it never will, it's a fun server. So stop trying to change this server to something it's not.

Every arena title bar rank 1 title gets wiped after the next season is over.
