Question! How do you figure you'd spend more time getting it than enjoying it? People are already asking for it to persist another season. So you would essentially preserve it one full season without having to defend your title or even having to do anything. After that, you'd have to do so again. What's wrong with this? We have so many win traders every fucking season, people forking out money for titles and mount. Why should you retain it without ever having to prove yourself again? That's unrealistic and not how competition works.

The most players who already got the title quit.
Removing titles after each season seems redicilus, should in that case be given a customized title that you can choose personally. for example "Zizix'the flamer'"
Instead of fixing these competition shit in arena, fix arena first so ppl don't get angry and quit over bullshit that isn't supposed to happen.

and make it to where ONLY R1 AND R2 TEAMS GET IT with the R2 have less characters(letters) to use.
and only accesable through arena not available to donation or buyable

I think deleting the Arena Titles from previous seasons would just be a pointless and not worth the effort type of job. As stated in previous replies, 3/4 of the V Glad and M Glad population barely even play Smolderforge because of the bugs and glitches this game has not only in arena but pretty much everywhere. They aren't going to come back to Smolderforge like you think they are because they need to "Get their titles again".

Why would you delete a title that someone worked hard to get, whether it was this season, or 7 season ago. It's not like they're hurting anyone who is working for a title currently. Just shows that they were good in arenas at one point or another. Yes they have a mount, but in my opinion i believe seeing a M Glad or V Glad title in someone's name is way more badass then riding around on a Spec tiger or Drake they can't even ride, or a zebra.

Obviously Deceit would want something like this to happen because he still is currently in the top 5 in arenas teams here, and I'm pretty sure already has M Glad title from previous season. Coming from someone who can get a title this season, of course he would want the old titles to be taken out. Make him look more unique and "cool".

It's safe to say arena now is nowhere where it use to be back in previous seasons. You have the same 8 players now a days with the top 15 teams on their mains and alts. Arena back in the day, you had 20+ players fighting for the top. I think Henhouse should be more concentrated on fixing the bugs then trying to make a couple players happy by finding and changing the codes on 100+ different toons with rank 1-6 title. Just leave the titles be, not like its affecting you getting a title now.

I just read the first paragraph as I am in a hurry. Imo. Unless you've been titled yourself you can't fathom the mysteries concerning the titles. I myself? Titled aka no motivation to do it again? I remember though, before when I was untitled, damn how I struggled to get that damn SpectralTiger. I want to feel like this again, I want to fucking struggle and I want to work hard. I want to do that shit again.

When some people out there who have titles, rarely play their titled toons anymore, and they do. Maybe they can say "screw the chase, i still have a titled that i worked for" still having the satisfaction of something they earned instead of having to re earn it.

You dont quite feel me though. I dream of?... well, Id like to imagine the race and competition that wudda been "created." The first season (atleast) after every title got whiped. Anyway. Ive let you in on my two cents ;D
