So I've managed to get to the character selection screen but when I try to log in on Xaru the game crashes. Hopefully it'll be working soon.

I'm sorry that you had to be a new player and experience this. This is the 2nd time in our 3.5 year history that we've experienced any type of rollback. Luckily this one is shorter than the last one we had in 2009.

I do promise you that you're more secure here, on crashes we don't have rollbacks due to server setting to save our characters often, we have good uptime, etc. This is just a really rare and very unfortunately problem that has happened. 3.5 years our characters have also never been wiped, and we've not shutdown. I hope you still trust us, and we do apologize sincerely for the loss but it was unavoidable.

Well i've been here just over a month, And i play quite regularly as atm my home town is kinda out of commission due to a major earthquake we had. I already have donated a fair bit purely because i can.
But now i've lost, 50-55k worth of honor gear and quite a few pieces of gear purchased with BoJ's, my toon that was exalted with scryers is now 20k backwards, which was a couple hours of farming. lost a toon, plus that toons items/honor etc.

Ugh.... i don't quite get why it's only 2k honor and 8 boj.

:/

I'd love to help you, it's just I cannot freely just be able to help the thousands of players who probably lost things. If it was 10 people, sure I would. But it's just too extreme.

Do you by chance live near Virginia? There was an earthquake there a few days ago.

Oh that happened a while back, thought you meant the recent Eastern US one. It wasn't very severe but did cause some damage for folks.
