Thank you Lelol for this clarification, it is important to make a difference between assumptions and tests/proofs.

You will always have a 0.21% chance to miss on rogues and if you get insect swarm debuff on you then there's gonna be a 2.21% chance to miss rogues.

You also gotta remember there are a classes that has increased % chance to resist fears such as paladins & priests.
Hence why he has 7% to counter the 4% chance to miss talents for rogues, boomkins, and ret. As well as 74 spell pen. to counter buffs. Where are you getting 0.21%?
Honest question.

You have 96% chance to hit an even level target and the ~1% general TBC resist has been removed. Heightened Senses and Balance of Power reduce your chances to hit by 2/4% and Pursuit of Justice reduces it to 1/2/3%.
Basically you need 8% spell hit either from your spell hit rating or from talents which increase your chance to hit.

Speaking of resistance, you only need 18.7 effective spell resistance (after spell pen reduction) to increase your chances to resist binary spells from this school by 4%.

I've always wondered about resistances, since it doesn't give any kind of information on miss/resistance chance at level 70, besides just saying a point value and poor, fair, etc.

Is it really that slight for 4% miss chance, 18.7? Huh... Neat. I know what flask to prioritize.

So then, wtf was that 0.21% lelol was referring to? O.o

I myself play with more than 9% hit as a pvp rogue and i still experience ks misses on random UD Locks fot example, or even blind miss on a ks'd personn. So u sure that this 1% is removed?
Getting misses with almost 10% hit seems just insane.

Im shit at testing and TCing. But i read explanations

@Sbkzor The base gear new warlocks get includes the 5% stun meta gem. Blind is considered as a ranged attack, it will be affected by all the talents or spells which impact ranged attacks such as Evasion -- It reduces hit chance by 25%.

I updated my first post with some of the bugtracker valid reports (from #50). There are obviously more valid bugs on our bugtracker, I pointed the important ones that are easy to check. Feel free to contest or add more evidences.

I know that for evade.
And I mentionned KSmiss on locks (that was an example btw). 5(0)% Resistmeta is about ''resists'', not ''miss''.
And i made research, getting miss even if u are behind a stunned target is legit. Another beautiful idea of blizzard.

DefinitelyNotEvolve wrote:the main problem (except completely retarded spell pene system on thig Bugfest realm) of resistances on this server is this:
Spell hit rating and talents such as Shadow Focus(gives you +10% spell hit rating) are not penetrating resist talents such as Unbreakable Will(gives you +15% chance to resist fear/silence/stun), so its basically useless.
I'm pretty sure that this works on Smolderforge. I remember testing it a few months ago, but you can test it again if you doubt it.

Note: I only tested spell hit and the Suppression warlock talent. Those worked, I have not tested regular hit rating priest talents.
