What is the reason of life?
Re: What is the reason of life?
The reason if life is to survive and procreate :)
In other words the reason if life is a mission.

You're mostly right. However, I dare say, this would tend to suit us better collectively.
"We're born to live our lives, thinking we're better than everything on this planet. We then, must find a mate that hopefully can spread our bloodline another generation. A generation; full of arrogance, ignorance and half the morality we started with."
The meaning of life is simple. "Don't be a blight upon the world." A simple task, that so very few heed.
I probably could have delivered that better, but it does seem to fit the trend.

Love isn't a real emotion, theoretically it doesn't exist. It is simply a word used to describe an unexplainable or overbearing infatuation with another human or object. In nature, the only feeling that could be considered "love" is the connection between a mother and her child.Henhouse wrote:To love, and reproduce.
Additional bonuses: don't be a cancer on the Earth.

Detached; withdrawn from one's physiological integument. Shrouded; an overcoat disguises in-genuine action. The insanity (man?) beneath the mask. He acknowledges no boundary, however, ignorance of such a rift is falsified; distortion.

You are right. Not from a biological view though. Humans now have an unparalleled influence on others and the world around us. Are primary purpose is to procreate and pass on our genes.Zapcraclepop wrote:You're mostly right. However, I dare say, this would tend to suit us better collectively.

However we are communal animals that live in groups. Therefore we are hard-wired to work for the best interests of ourselves, and what is best for ourselves is often best for our group (tribe).
The difference is in this globalized word, what defines our tribe or group? Our very notion of the group collective must evolve just as we do if we are to survive as a race.
There will always be conflict between competing groups (war). This is our method of population control and group survival. However as we all know, the weapons of war change the dynamic of this element and so our views on war must also change.

There isn't any reason of life in philosophical sense.

Well spoken. I get the feeling you're older than most of the pups here. If I may, I must inquire, how old are you? I don't see that kind of critical thinking come out of people under twenty very often at all. It's actually refreshing to know someone has their eyes open.Exsurgo wrote: You are right.
