until these 2 players came into the game. no offense but the way this is heading, the server will either turn into an :

A- An Premade server where new comers barely will stand a chance and will almost be forced
to choose 1 of the main guilds here (Passion and Roflcopter)
B- Decrease of the population, In worst case scenario the end of SF i dont really see this happening
but the possibility is always there if people get GY farmed all the time then more people will
leave then join

so i'm in for my first option remove the titles but keep conquerer since this title is based on rep which means you actually got to win bg's.
Removing the title system seems fine but it would be totally unfair if you would only reset the top 2 players their HK's. Would make no sense imo, like I said before I invested a lot of time and effort into my character and you gotta respect that as well you can just take that away.

Did they reset the HK's on LastWoW or on retail? There was even a guy on retail that had 1,66 million honorable kills. Mine is nothing compared to that..

I think the best solution is by removing the PvP rank system and set a maximum of HK's on 250.000 or 300.000 honorable kills.
If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you..

i said that as a last solution i was more talking about my first 1 making the conqereur title still available since it would give some players actually to paly for something without farming HK's

He doesn't make premades to camp GYs to farm HKs, he plays them the normal way. I've seen him plenty of times in BG on retail.

Well I play bg's alone too I'm not always premading and farming GYs.

As far as capping hks go we probably wouldn't want to set it as high as 250,000+, then it becomes a challenge to hit the cap because its so high not many people will hit it. We would want the cap low enough that even casual players will hit it in reasonable time.

Fak its not all about you, Its about the other people who actually want to play here, And with premades ruining there experiance on this server, All the Premades do it Farm HK's at the GY you know that I've done it to you, And you have done it to me, So pull your head out of your arse and thinking its about your HK's or Ezatts for that matter personly, I say Reset the HK's Remove the title system, But dont cap the HK's just make the HK's Redundant OR do a compition between every one for a DAY, no premades only Random BG's and the top 3 people with the most Hk's get a title of there choice and or a mount, But thats my idea..

I understand your concern and its not like I expected you to be ok with us fiddling with your hks that you've been working for a long time for. We're just spitting around ideas at the moment so we don't know what will happen. I was just informing you ahead of time that if the case is we set a cap I don't think it would be one that you havn't already passed. The point is to make hks null and void and setting them to a limit not even the 2 most farmed players on the server have hit doesn't really help. While I don't expect you to willingly hand over your hks if need be, I'm only informing you that there are other things we have to care about like the server as a whole and Ezatts and your hks are of little importance in comparison at this time.

Well tbh if you care about the server as a whole I suggest you to get an active developer from Oregoncore and use the donation money to pay him and make this a bugfree server and your population decrease problem is over FOR GOOD. Maybe we will hit over a 1000+ people then since you can advertise for Smolderforge as an bug free server then.

Actually the main reason for population decrease is lag, bugs and server crashes. That's what makes people annoyed.

FYI I was given access to HellGround's repository today. The server is about to blow through the roof in bug fixes and stability soon.
