I'm American, Imperium is American. I started Smolderforge in America, the server used to be hosted in a house in the mountains of North Carolina and then went dedicated on a server in Los Angeles, California until April 4th, 2010 when we moved it to Amsterdam, Netherlands in Europe.

No, Imperium isn't a GM. I'm the only American on the team. Everybody else is EU/AU and one is from South America.
