Before the ego hits the mesosphere again, we're talking about them, not you. We know you know your class, most of these guys don't.
Worse, they're perfectly content remaining in the skill floor they've set for themselves. That's the best part.
First of all, who says I'm good? As far as I know, I played here before your time, don't think you've actually ever seen me play. You've probably seen me around some scarce few bg's, but you've most likely not known it was me anyway. Second, who says you have to be any good to get around a gy farm? You don't have to be a rogue, or a mage to pull it off, especially not on Smolderforge, where most people have access to all the tools needed to get out alive. Get some rocket boots or an invisibility potion, and you're all set.
The only reason I find gy farming to be extremely tedious is that it demotivates people to play, which isn't really good for the server overall, or for the quality of bg's for that part. The players on Smolderforge are brought up to be a bunch of spoiled, greedy idiots who think they're entitled to everything, and has been forged to play like utter shit with a pissy mentality to boot. There are ways to change this, and pave a better road for future generations of players, if there even is such a thing.
Just the fact that people have to come to the forums and even
ask if it's a bannable offense is fucking sad. It also summarizes the state of bg's on this server quite well.
What's also sad is that the advice people give these players is to just stop playing, by either akf'ing or leaving.
But personally I don't have any major problems with gy farming. If I play solo, I prefer wsg when my team is locked down. That way I can stroll over to their gy and get some interesting fights. I'm not saying that I haven't ever left, because I have, and not just wsg. But getting killed a couple of times hasn't been the reason, because... well, it's a bg, where half the players are out to kill me. If I join one, they'll most likely succeed at one point or another.
