Obvious things are obvious... so then what was the reason of informing us what we already know?

Obvious statements don't always imply the way they were said or directed towards someone. For example, dogs cannot understand Human language but they understand tone and emotion. If you say "I love you" in the angriest voice to a dog, he'll assume you're very upset. Just because you said I love you does not imply the fact that was the way the message was directed. Hopefully this would be obvious to some Humans, whereas this topic shows the lack of some Human capability in understanding this logic.
