No you didn't.
Once title switching got introduced in TBC you got the title "back" so to speak. But during vanilla, when the system was active, you lost the title when you lost the rank.

Oh yeah that's true, don't know what I was thinking of, maybe the gear :D
There's no easy way to go about this. Maybe if there was a very large support for lowering to 25k I would definitely consider doing so. I mean, I'm with you in terms of not having time to ever reach that. I rarely get to play SF. I've had a character since the beginning and I have like... 4k HKs. I don't have many, and I'll never reach the top either.
I've been meaning to raise the max amount for a long time but never wanted to because I knew I would never reach it either. But, I guess I finally decided to.

Ask your self, are you playing for fun or for HKs farming. Lets say you reach 50k and what. Not like you instantly become bezt eu. HKs doesn't really matter to me. It's just a shiny tittle, nothing else. Play for fun, and you wont notice when you got it. I got rank 7 without even realizing it. On the other hand this will probably make more people want the title therefore more pvp will be happening. In fact, I would say make the high warlord title 100k :DD
I don't get why you all complain about the new title system.
A lot of people have 15 000 kills and there were over 50 - 100 High Warlord / Grand Marshals. In Vanilla there was only 1 High Warlord and Grand Marshal and you had to play even more then I do to even obtain it and the weapons.
But look it from the bright sight. At least you got something to do now again. You can farm honorable kills and earn the title again. At least you don't get bored.
