Well I won the auction today... or rather I should say auctions.

My first original bid got jacked up to 300, so in my attempts to raise the other Smolderthorn servers (there are 4) I ended up placing bids on another one and winning that one too :/

So I ended up getting two... Oh well. They'll arrive around late November.

Atleast the money isn't going into Blizzard's pocket!

Sadly they are defunct. :/ according to the website. But I want to think that means INCAPABLE OF RUNNING A BLIZZLIKE SERVER. Or they mean they took the harddrives out. I mean ALL the hardware is there and nothing has been messed with -- why wouldn't it work? I might have to get power cables for it though.

Yeah it's good to know I just sent a lot of money to help kids with cancer. That's a good feeling.

Hm quite odd to tag it that way, although it was intended to be sold as a collector item in the first place, I don't believe they rolled magnets over it and dropped it on the floor a few times. ^^
However, if they did, they... well let you know in advance. :x
