:3 Nah jk, but I can't wait to see it in action, will be back soon, gonna buy a portable HDD and throw a TBC WoW on it so I can still keep retail ;)
Make sure it's not something petty like USB. Either get a interal HD connected by SATA cords, or external needs to be either Ethernet or Firewire. Those are the best for speeds.

Oh cool thanks for the tip, quick question though why not a USB port? I figured I'd use it like most of my external hardware, pop it in and just select it's proper driver destination to download stuff.

I think its because USB ports are slow.

Well, I mean it's not like I need an extremely fast one, just something to put WoW and a few gigs of music on.
/shrug
I'll check it out when I head to the tech store this weekend.

Ask them why you're there. Ask them about using it to actively play WoW, yes include wow becuase if you should say game they might think minesweeper. They need to know you're running a ~10GB game off of it.

I mean USB is great, but I'm saying that others are faster. I have a 500GB time capsule for my Mac which is Ethernet and did a great job with speed. Now I have a 1TB hard drive and no longer need any sort of external devices... It's... Wonderful.

Holy crap Hen, that's a lot of HDD space. 1TB? The hell kind of computer do you have. Yeah, I'm heading up there tomorrow so I guess I'll see what they say.

iMac. I got the one with the ATI HD card so it came with then a 1TB HD instead of the normal 500GB. I've used about... 350GB already, I kept all backups of stuff on the Time Capsule HD but it's nice going from a 80GB MacBook >_>. I love it :).

I got it for Christmas but it was probably around $1,600. But with it's specs and stuff it's going to last me many years. I mean it's 21.5" and Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06Ghz processors with 4GB of RAM which I can upgrade to 16 if I needed to.

No offense but are you serious? $1,600 for THAT? $600 of that is for the pretty Apple icon.
