Poll: Would You Play Pre-BC?

If we opened a Pre-BC server (sometime in the future after Wrath), would you play it?

Please keep in mind it would differ from Smolderforge drastically. We would try to take a real-feel Pre-BC approach. Still instant-60 probably, however a working economy, raid for gear, professions, scripted, etc.

We would have Battlegrounds and level 60 arena brackets. However Season gear will not be there, but the Grand Marshall, etc would.

I wouldn't call it "prebc" with BC talent trees and arenas.

Well, now that I think about it arena's might not be good since classes are much different in Pre-BC and arena might not work as well as just plain old battlegrounds... also a classic wow server called PreTBC which was made by a more popular name "Team Reloaded" has released they're own prebc talent patch that you put in your data folder and run wow with a special launcher.

I'm not saying that we should completely steal they're launcher and talent patch but it obviously can be done... however the talent patch doesnt do a whole lot it just removes the BC end talents and a couple of talents that didnt exist during Pre-BC but other than that since they cant really edit talents thats all thats changed.

I would say run the server for realz Classic wow on patch 1.12.1 but its got a lot of bugs and its inconvenient to have to have another wow folder dedicated to that patch.

We would disable BC talents. We wouldn't run on a custom launcher because it could only work for MaNGOS without modifying it, or any Mac-based computers for that matter. Also 1.12.1 is so outdated and the patches are extremely hard to find for that game.

Also, like I have said before, arena wouldn't be focused here, it would be something fun to do.

Oh wow, want a cookie, Cookie? Now try to find US Mac OS X versions and patch all the way up from various game patch like 1.5 and 1.4 for people who have those disks, and uh---go.
