Pavadehof the Cursebringer is the Curse in the Wild quest boss located in Azshara Crater. This is a reference to long time Smolderforge player, Applez. His alias is also Pavadehof -- a shortened combination of his name "Patrick van den Hof".
Henry & Caroline are two NPCs located in the old duel area behind the building, as well as in the new duel area in the wagon. This is a reference to Henhouse's dog who passed away at age 15. Caroline's level is 15 to represent her age.
Avot & Doge is our NPC located in the Player Mall that sells tabards and other miscellaneous items. This is a reference to Gamemaster Awoth. Awoth's favorite meme is the Doge meme, hence his dog.
Dr. Linus is our barber, located in the Tanaris Battlemasters. Linus is a reference to a former GM's boyfriend who would often take over the SF GM Skype chat and say "hello! this is Linus!" repeatedly
Marcus "Monte" Cristo is our beloved Arena Spectator NPC. This is a reference to Marcus aka Exsurgo, the developer who implemented the spectating feature.
Poe is our recently added Currency NPC in the Player Mall. This is a reference to the poes found in Ocarina of Time. Henhouse was reminded of this with the lanterns and gave it this name.
Kat Zscho'cin is our Engineering NPC located in the professions area. This is a reference to Henhouse's friend Kaitlyn whose last name started this crazy way. This "shocked" Henhouse into making the Engineering NPC named after her.
Captain Fellner is our Donation NPC. This is a reference to a high school friend of Henhouse, whose last name is "Fellner".
Amg'el Umernati is our Demon Trainer NPC. This is a bastardization of "omg illuminati". He is standing on a demonic circle with a triangle located in the middle!
Kim Baron is our Leatherworking NPC. This is a reference to an old GM in 2010 whose alias was Kim Baron.
Stefani Germanotta is our Jewelcrafting NPC located in the professions area. This is literally Lady Gaga's real name and the NPC model inspired Henhouse to name her this.
Lilly is an NPC that sits between the Gem vendor and the Enchanting vendor in the Player Mall. This is a reference to a childhood rabbit that Henhouse had. Her health is 7 to represent her age.
Liron is our beloved teleporter NPC. This is a reference to one of the first Gamemasters on Smolderforge in 2008. His name was Liron and he was from Greece. He disappeared one day, nobody heard from him, so this inspired Henhouse months down the road to name an NPC after him.
Loohq, the Shiny Collector is our Special Transmog Vendor NPC located in the appearances area of the Player Mall. This is a reference to the little brother of Henhouse's close friend. He is often top 500 in Overwatch, as well as competing in CSGO tournaments. Loohq is his gamertag.
Ludvig & Andre is our Cooking and Fishing NPCs located in the professions area. This is a reference to Gamemaster Xios and his friend Andre.
Luscious is our Enchanting NPC. This is a reference to Smolderforge player Lustful. This is an alt.
Nat Pagle is our Daily Quest NPC. He has 8 references that he says every 8 minutes. If you pay attention, you might get a few of the references!
Qat P. Dnab is the Starter PvP Vendor. This is "Band Ptaq" spelled backwards. "Band" because players often misspell "banned". Ptaq is a long time Smolderforge player who was permanently banned for toxicity, but with the recent amnesty unban, he is allowed to play again!
Reftar Lokgrail is our Weapons Vendor in the Player Mall. This is a reference to Henhouse's friend, whose gamertag is "Reft" and last name is "McGrail".
Riskivious & Hen-trivious are two NPCs located in Azshara Crater. They are hidden down by the river, but it pays tribute to co-founder of Smolderforge, Riski. Hen-trivious is an NPC also located in the hidden room of SC. In 2009, his loot room was a pile of gold and gems. (Before the 2013 rework).
Neruur, the Unrelenting is our Daily Heroic quest giver. This is a reference to "Ruuren", a player who was repeatedly banned on Smolderforge. Unrelenting is his title due to his unwillingness to accept his ban. After he was finally unbanned, this NPC was named after him. Every 8 minutes, this NPC turns into a Moonkin, drinks a Free Action Potion and an elixir. This is a reference to Ruuren's love for potions during Battlegrounds.
High Warlord Van Kraken is our Alchemy vendor located in the professions area of the new Player Mall. This is a reference to an old WoW machinima titled "Illegal Danish: Super Snakes" where an alchemist tries to take over the world.

Mawbo the White is our new banking NPC in the Player Mall. This is a reference to Wambologe (Wambo), an old player of Smolderforge who truly believed he was a cow. He would /moo at people in Tanaris as well as trade them Iced Cold Milk.
Ana M. Beew is our Misc. vendor located in the Player Mall. This is a reference to long time Smolderforge player, "Manabreak". This NPC was inspired by his hate for roleplaying. It is "Weeb Mana" spelled backward.
Acirum Elgae is our PvE vendor located in the Player Mall. This is "Eagle Murica" spelled backward, with the model of the NPC being the eagle from ZA. Prior to the mall update, this NPC would occasionally cast "freedom".
