Quick question about exploration

Hi there, I remember in BC where I could glitch in many places in the world to allow me to explore unusual places (going under Orgrimmar for example). I've tried this glitch again on this server but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone knows what I am talking about? If it's working, can anyone confirm this to me, or if it's not, why was it removed? It's really nothing game breaking, it's just pure fun :)

They all exist until the world maps were changed in Cataclysm.
