Rerolling.
Rerolling.
I have played all of the WoW_ Expansions and ive rerolled every single time. Yet I always find myself going back to playing my rogue. Towards the end of EVERY expansion I always somehow just switchback?
It goes like.. "Im just gonna level my rogue cuz.. i dunno.. alt... he was my first dude n shit."
I simply cannot manage a reroll, as I always come back to the class i started with. Same goes with smolderforge. Eveerytime I start playing "again" after breaks I promise myself to start playing a new class. But yet, I find myself playing a rogue in the end.
Even though I once had a "lock_out" kinda project? Typo.. you cannot play your rogue till you've played this char for 3 months. Still ended up going back on my rogue. Maybe cause I just love the control of the rogue, I dunno? Nevertheless, remember the same thing goes for Retail and Smolderforge.
Nonetheeless... rerolling.. tips and thoughts? EVEN MAYBE A HOW_TO_GUIDE_WAT?

Re: Rerolling.
Mage or Lock is most likely the classes that will fit you the best if you like the control and micromanagement of the Rogue class.
But if you enjoy playing your Rogue, then why reroll?

Re: Rerolling.
I want to broaden my mind. Become "good" as other classes aswell. I want to be able to "vanish a blind" metaphorically speaking on other classes aswell. Id imagine "this" would improve my overall ability to be beastgod. I want to premeditate...everything... hehehehe, I would also like to play other combinations.Cube wrote:Mage or Lock is most likely the classes that will fit you the best if you like the control and micromanagement of the Rogue class.

Re: Rerolling.
Well, I'd say Mage or Warlock for solo play. Add Priest and Warrior to that if playing with friends.

Re: Rerolling.
I Generally like mages, but I cant seem to learn how to play a Mage on SF really. They seem to be so squishy. Cause arond ever corner... Arena/Battlegrounds.. there is ninjaouttafuckyoloDOG geared rogues killing me before I could even Ice block. I wouldnt say im a terrible WoWplayer in "general" but I die incredibly FAST while playing my mage. I tend to panic abit though as im not too familiar with the spells and binds on my mages aswell.Cube wrote:Well, I'd say Mage or Warlock for solo play. As I am talking about rerolling... What would be easiest to learn and which class would I do best as.. except a rogue? As for warriors... there's just too much macros and stancebullshit for me honestly? But again, that is a habit thingie right?
Re: Rerolling.
You won't learn anything unless you play it.
As for getting good at something fast? I don't know. Don't think there are any classes that you can master easily. There are classes with higher skillcap than others, and there are classes that are fairly effective even if you don't play them all that well, especially with the gear available around here.
If I were to reroll myself, I'd pick a class that looked the most interesting to me and my playstyle, and then roll with it.
If you want to get good, you'll have to invest some time in whatever class you pick.

Re: Rerolling.
So lets say Ive posted from a troll account because I was interested in legit opnions and such? And I was.. shall we say titled (smolderforge) as a discpriest and a subtletyrogue? Which would be my best pick? As opposed to playstyle.. etc? When it comes to "investing time." I really wish my days where 36 hours long, but they're not...Cube wrote:You won't learn anything unless you play it.

Re: Rerolling.
Not quite sure I follow you. But if you want to get effective/get rating fast and easy, I'd say roll a resto druid.

Re: Rerolling.
If you've played disc/sub from a rogue's pov, and you know the comp, then why not roll disc and find a rogue that you're comfortable playing with?
