Updates on the DDoS attack
Updates on the DDoS attack
Oh wait, there are none really.
Sadly due to the heavy amount of traffic it is virtually impossible for myself to even connect to the server so I am having to use a feature provided by my host to access the server behind the network so I can access it when a normal remote connection would never get through. The problem is that the speed of the server currently is ~240 bytes per second. So essentially the server is so overloaded I am using dial up to try to do anything with it. Installing packages and stuff to even attempt to mitigate this is proving not very helpful either.
Sorry everyone. When we finally get back up and on our feet I will be upping the rewards of badges from battlegrounds temporarily and starting Hallow's End several days earlier so players can get started on farming the Headless Horseman mount and enjoying the event. :)

I'm thinking BBQ. Beer, BBQ chicken, Hamburgers, and Doritos. Never a bad thing.Imperium wrote:Enjoy the break imo.

Re: Updates on the DDoS attack
Yes, it is. Since our site is our main form of communication it is essential to keep it separate and online.SheLexa wrote:Is the forum located on a separate server? as i didnt notice any slow down or down time for the forums.
