Cannot connect?

Hey

There is something weird with this server is that I cannot connect and its stuck at "Logging in to the server". First I thought it was from me but I tried other private servers "Feenix WoW for example" which I had no problem logging in so it was really weird.

I tried to use a proxy to change my IP to another country's IP and I was able to login. Now that's weird, I'm from UAE (United Arab Emirates) and I cannot connect to your server even though a friend of mine from another country is always online and I can connect to most other servers. Do you guys have certain countries blocked? A response would be apprecieted.

We had a crash earlier and the server was down for ~4 minutes while it rebooted. Can you please try again? I think you just got really unlucky and tried during a crash.


You also speak the best English I've ever seen from someone in the middle east that has played on here. Mega props to you, sir.

Thanks for your response! I'm aware of the server closure for the core updates and such but that's not the case. I have a friend who's from Belgium, he can log in and play without a problem (he is online atm).

I just tried again but it's the same results. However, when I turn on my proxy (which changes my ip to another country's ip) I can login without a problem. I asked another friend from my region (UAE) to try to log in and he also couldn't. So it's clear that there is some problem regarding where are you connecting from or something, and I already mentioned I could login to other private servers from my region without a proxy so.

But yeah most people in the middle east suck at English :P, and never bother to report/post anything. I'm hoping you guys could figure out the problem even though I think it's a tough one. Looking forward to your comment!

Hmm, you're able to login, but not into the game server? Well TBC's login server and gameserver are on the exact same server so if you're able to connect to one, I don't see why both wouldn't work.

Are you sure your country isn't blocking connections to servers in Germany, maybe? If your friend had the same results that's all I can think of.

Make sure ports 3724 and 8085 are open in firewall.

I'm able to login but its stuck at "Success" then eventually it will ask me to choose the realm and ofc I choose the TBC realm "Smolderforge" then it's stuck at "Login in to game server". Pretty sure my country isn't blocking connections to servers in Germany (I was thinking that your sever is blocking our country since I can connect to other servers :P). I mean I'm playing retail in a german server and I have no problems to connect. I also tried turning off firewall/Kaspersky but same results.

Sorry I kinda repeat the same points lol. But it's really a weird situation. I wonder if it has to do with gamefiles.. no it cant be since I was able to log in with a proxy (and I got high ms with it :@)...
