Taking away itemlevel 277 trinkets won't create ANY kind of balance. People will still have ridiculous ICC trinkets with only a few stats less than before. The same with all other 277 offpieces. Even if you remove all 277 offpieces and force people to wear 264, they will STILL do the same ridiculous damage, perhaps crit 500 less, whoopdidoo.

You won't reach balance (not even an illusion of balance) by limiting items(/itemlevels). Even if you drop them all the way to deadly gear, we will be 3shotting each other. Thats wotlk for you.
