Smolderforge - Crap or Not?

Hey! I just made an account on Smolderforge. I have been activly looking for an active level 70 PvE server for the past 1.5 years. I played quite a bit on LastWow, which was incredibly bad, none of the bosses worked as they should, it was laggy as shit, and the server admin didn't give three shits about the server, just about making money. My question is this: Is Smolderforge a laggy and stupid server with no working bosses, or is it a good server worth spending time on? I appreciate any replies I might get. Thanks in beforehand! <3

They're the first guild to progress through Mount Hyjal and have made good progress in Black Temple so far.

This is a bit of an odd topic to post to be honest, because I don't think many players who play here and going to be active on our forums to say "no don't play here it's bad." so it was a bit pointless I'd think. Though, most of our players are here for PvP anyway. LastWoW is horrible anyway, their core is ancient and has a ton of bugs.

This be a pvp server mate!I doubt you'll get raids going....and no...it's not stupid nor laggy.

Yes, I would agree that this is an odd topic indeed, but you have to understand my frustration. There are alot of WotLK servers out there with zero lag, great playerbase etc. I have been looking for sooo long after an at the very least decent Burning Crusade private server. So far I have seen NONE.

Atleast with this reply, you gave me hope of experiencing Karazhan again, and I thank you! I will apply to that guild, and play VERY actively on this server if I get accepted! :)

probably the #1 TBC server that offers BOTH pve and pvp, with at least 95% working aspects on both ends. lag free. large playerbase, and a handful of people who know what to do. yeah, SF is the best if you want both parts of the game.

Some people enjoyed it. Others just see it as a waste of time. personally I enjoyed that one and Hyjal/BT. Some of the most fun I had for raiding until ICC.

Edit: Regarding lag, there is some; but follow the screen freeze walkthrough and you won't want to punt quite as many puppies into lakes of fire. As for stupid, no. This is definitely one of the best servers around, just don't go horde. Trust me, do NOT go horde.
