Just tried this and joined an EotS. Didn't help one bit.

My old backup pc, single core processor so no need to set affinity to 1. Still getting screenfreezes! :( (even if I turn the last settings to low)

I'm at a loss here. I've been playing here since March, and using a piece of shit assembled in '01 I can run the game flawlessly with only having to worry about lag. Maybe holding down the 'S' key is giving you the freezes, I certainly see enough of you doing that.

Makes sense because older machines had no trouble playing the game. The issue of screen freezes is a mulithreading issue. People didn't have many dual/quad cores back then.

Yeah, sorry. Didn't mean to imply that the TBC project would get shut down.

Lol. If that were the case, I'd be ready to go /wrists. Yeah, call me emo, but not being able to play BC would finish off my interest in the game. ><

Also, I'd like to add that I am using Windows 7. It took me a moment to realize that I had to do as Henhouse instructed on the "Processes" tab, rather than the "Applications" tab. Hopefully this is useful information to those lost souls out there. I know I was lost for a short while. lol ><

Anyway, here's to hoping it works. <3
