A few matter we might look upon....

hi guys ! :)
the reason i created this topic was to ask your opinion on several matters of our server

1=> 2 items have been removed from the public use : the warglaives
(as i'm sure you have all noticed it)
i understand that the donor sistem is keeping this server alive but players who are now to the game can't afford to donate as soon as they start a character on this realm; they need to learn the basics even though this is a instant 70 realm, most of them never even did pvp before...
i have not made this topic to ask the administrator (henhouse) to start adding up items to the non-donor players, but simply not to remove the basic ones either...
and about the brutal set... there's only a 4-5 % difference between it and the vengefull set... so it's no big deal...
i met alot of peaople who came on this server just beacause they heard from friends that this is a very good pvp server and that you have acces to all items.... and when they see other player with glaives for example they are feeling really sad because they know that they won't get'em (not my case, cuz i got my glaives long ago :D).

2=> this server, like any other was supposed to be a BALLANCED server... and i'm not seing that right now... beacuse 80 % of the population is horde....(better racials they say....)
no method of ballancing the server comes to my mind at this hour.... but try to consider this issue too

3=> could there be a smart way to reduce the lag ?

4=> and last, you should try to encourage pvp...because this is a pvp server after all....
you could start by entroducing more rewards to a number of arena rating (tittles,items,weapones,armor).

we can start makin smolderforge a real pvp server by working togeder and by not beeing jerk when one newbie comes and asks for gold or where they could buy gear or anything of that sort; even though your english is not very good, you can try to explain at least :)

in my opinion we achieve our worthyness through the eyes of other people...
how people look at us really matters (maybe not in wow but in real life it does)
even though wow is just a game, the swears you hear in every day raids are iritating ("NOOB!!!", "NOOB tank TAUNT,TAUNT,TAUNT!!!","NOOBS don't know to heal!!!") or anything of that sort...

i hope you aren't exhausted after reading this kilometrical post :D ( i know i have a few grammar issues but i'll ask you to forgive my spelling this time beacuse it's very late and i'm kindda tired)

You can't change the choices people make on the factions and yes hordes do have better racials

Maybe its possible to make a trainer that gives out a small racial that can make a difference and influence people to choose from allience races
