ok so i recently Bought a bear mount . but as it happens At the moment
you can Get bear mount for FREE in ZA
so i feel kinda ripped of , can i change this for an big battle bear ?
or atleast some kind of Replacement.
cuz this is just absurd.

You didn't "buy" a mount. You donated $10 and recieved a bear as a thank you.

As we all know, we didn't donate out of the goodness of our hearts, we donated because in our minds we wanted to "buy" the items we chose.

This server, and every other server, knows that we only payed because of what we will recieve, but continues to call it a donation so that way they are not responisible for faulty items or things that you did not recieve. I spent $44 here, and 1 of my accounts got hacked, one got stolen, and one of my account had it's characters deleted. Ya i know you're not supposed to trade, but the characters i traded were not on any of those accounts.

So, instead of complaining and whining and a buch of other shit, i decided to leave and get ready for school instead of just draining my money on this server. I sold everything i had for 1 donor code and gave that to my cousin who can happily play with a character that he likes.

I'm not trying to offend you, or throw you under a bus here, Henhouse, but I think to be fair, you should have a section called DONATE where it is infact a link to donate money, and not recieve items. That way, you know if you actually get donations to the server to help it running. Then, you should also have another sections for items, just like you have now, s4, t6, mounts, but should be a reliable when we lose an item, or a character gets deleted, or just something happens.

Let's Recap:
1. Have a donation section
2. Have an items section
The item section would have your full responsability incase something goes wrong, and then you could actually help us, and not just say we "donated" when infact we only donated to get the items.

I'm only typing this because i wasted $44 on items, and have nothing to show for it. Apparently, my name is trashed here, and im known as the biggest scammer when infact i havn't even been on the server in like 2+ weeks.

If you do do this, i would be happy enough to spend another $5 to buy a donor and resume playing here. I don't hold grudges because that's just dumb.

I hope everyone reads my thought on this, and I hope to see a response.

I'm looking forward to reading what you write, and even coming back to smolderforge in the near future.

Looks like when I restored the loot one of the sacrifice NPCs still had it in their loot table. This has now been fixed.

If you took a screenshot of the players I will be able to actually do something about this.

He DID say that he wanted a page where you can buy items, hence the word buy coming up later on. Also, it's labeled as a donation because it is purely that, a donation. You get a reward for donating. If you don't get the reward you were supposed to get, what's wrong with asking about it, or asking for a replacement that is cheaper? I don't find it bad at all. If you just labeled one page donation and another items, not very many people are just going to donate to the server. If the "items" section would be used for donations, that would be the same exact things as we have now. I don't understand what the difference would be.

The difference is that people, like the one who started this, would be able to get the item he wanted. Henhouse specifically said he doesnt refund donations, because they are donations. If the person who started this topic had the choice of donating or buying the mount, he would have bought the mount, and Henhouse would be able to refund the money because Henhouse would know that he bought the item to recieve the item, and thats all he wanted.

I know my first post, and even this one doesn't really make sense, but how i'm thinking about it does. It's harder to explain it like this.

Anyway, when i wrote "I would love to spend another $5" i was referring to buying s4, not donating and recieving s4 as a thank you. I onced asked Henhouse if I could give up 3 donors, worth $15 for a mount, worth $10, and he said "no, i don't transfer donations because that was a donation".

Just like the other topic that talked about a wipe. Everyone that donated for their items wouldn't recieve them because they didn't "buy" the items. They only donated to to the server, and if something happened, it wouldn't be his responsability to refund a donation. You see what I mean? And I know that you said that would never happen, but the possiblity of someone hacking your server, or a GM deleting them like other private servers is not always 100% preventable.
